A Few HAPPY Things to Brighten Your Day

This looks like a perfect way to spend an afternoon

I would describe myself as a happy individual, but sometimes you just need to a midweek pick-me-up, when things are a little low. Here are a few things that made me smile today...

Ombre Cake

International Book Club

My besties and I are all split apart and scattered across the globe. I thought it would be a nice idea to us keep "together" through an International Book Club. Each month one of us picks a book. We then make a time to come together and discuss over Skype ( free and fun). Of course we won't talk about the book in great detail, or at least that's my predication, but I think it will be a nice way of keeping in touch.

So I've asked around, did a little research and these are on the consider list for the first suggested read:

"Animal Farm" George Orwell
"Coco Chanel the Legend and the Life" Juistaine Picardie
"Running with Scissors a Memoir" Augusten Burroughs
" Giovannia's Room" James Baldwin

Thoughts and or suggestions?

Have a Great Weekend

Helen Frankenthaler

Hello lovelies, what are you up to this weekend? I'm heading to Columbia Flower Market  on sunday, and I'm hoping to get some research done at the V&A with my freshly laminated new library card. I hear that the art resources are awesome. I will report back! x

London | Borough Market

It's rare that you'll find me as happy as when I'm at the farmers market. I know it sounds silly but for whatever reason I love it - maybe it reminds me of my childhood, growing up in the country. I'm consistently mesmerized by all the colors, diversity and of course the fabulous little food samples. Borough Market certainly didn't let me down today. I spent the better part of the day here, tasted some yummy food and soaked up the sun. It was 14 degrees here in London today!
