In the summer from 6:30-11:00pm my neighbourhood blocks off keefer street and rolls in the street carts which is trouble for a local; especially a local that has a particular fondness for a nutella stuffed donut! Chanel Swimsuits

Although the weather here in Vancouver is less than pleasant and certainly not bathing suit weather, I find myself drifting to bathing suit shopping (a girl has to be prepared). I love these onesies from the Chanel Cruise Collection, so feminine and chic. 

Quinoa!

So i'm a little obessed with quinoa right now, also known as "the mother of all grains." It contains a balanced set of essential amino acids making it an unusually complete protein source among plant foods. It's an excellent source of dietary fiber and phosphorus and is high in magnesium and iron and to top it all off gluten-free!  Check out this recipe I stubbled across on BKFST I can't get enough! Click here for the recipe.

Icy Pastels | Fall 2011 Color Watch

Icy pastels are featured on fall 2011 runway this year, adding delicate touches in lavender, cream, pale pink, mint and sky these emerge as key colors for the season. What do you think of these milky or chalky opaques? I particularly love them featured color-blocked on bags (seen below on the No.21 clutch).

Wednesday Start... late

I'm back from a little extended vaca on Gabriola Island. How was everyone's (long or short) weekend? It was as always great to be away from it all and tucked up in the cabin. I managed to bake, cook, garden, read and learn to count to twenty in French not too shabby.
